3 Months

This month was a super busy one for the Osborne family! We have been shopping, decorating, and getting ready for the holidays. We LOVE this time of the year and being surrounded by those we love. Max is growing like a weed and we love that he is finally starting to fill out a bit. It is happening slowly but surely for our skinny little peanut! The kid loved to eat but his tummy troubles seem to be holding him back a little bit. This month we got a new swing for him (that swings side to side) and he loves it! I just love shopping and finding all of these new gadgets that make my life easier. Merry Christmas to our blog followers and a Happy New Year!!!

Fun things we did this month:
- We celebrate Christmas Eve with the Chans & Ooton family in Springfield, IL -- We loved seeing Max and his cousins together! It was so neat to see the next generation all together for the holidays. Ella, Ryder, Ayden, Sienna, and Vance
- After Christmas Eve in Springfield we packed up our little family of 3 and headed to Maroa, IL to celebrate with the O'Riley's -- Everyone love on our little buddy before heading to Church. It was exciting to finally have a baby in the family again and we were all trying to imagine what next year would be like....im thinking much more destructive ;)
- Christmas morning we woke up at home and opened gifts with the three of us and Granny Pen and Aunt Cindy. Max got some new swaddle blankets, socks, new outfits, and a few toys. He must have been a good boy for the last 3 months because Santa was very good to him :) We then went to my parents house for Christmas with the Dougherty's. We has mimosa, breakfast casserole, and french toast and then exchanged gifts. Because there was a bad winter storm expected we packed up around noon and hit the road for Georgia! We had planned to travel there after Christmas to visit family there but our plans got moved up.
- Max took his first road trip and left the state of Illinois for the first time on Christmas day. We left a noon and made it to Uncle Larry and Aunt Carletta's house around midnight.
- While in Georgia Max met his cousins Claire & Dylan and his Aunt Carletta & Uncle Larry.
- While in Georgia we spend time at the house visiting, went shopping, played board games nearly every night, ate lots of good home cooked meals, and lots of Menchies!
- New Years Eve we were in Georgia and were all asleep long before midnight! Crazy Nights with this little family of 3!!!

My must haves for moms:
- Rock n play!!! Can't say enough good things about this. Max doesn't like the bouncy seat but loves the rock n play. He sleeps, plays, and hangs out in it when I am doing things at home. It has also been great to travel with because it folds up flat! *i am using this one again because we loved this when we traveled*
- Head Rest Baby Mirror!!! We loved this one while traveling too, so that we could always see him.
-Bottle Car Warmer!!! My aunt got us this right before we left for our trip and we used it soooo much! It was so handy to have for the long trip and made max very happy at meal time on the road.
