Baby Bump

23 Weeks
Starting to POP!

Our Jordan Week...23 Weeks!

How Far Along: 23 Weeks...It's our JORDAN WEEK!!!

Size of baby:  Baby Oz weighs over 1 pound (the size of a large mango) and is over 11 inches long!!!

Maternity Clothes:  I am still wearing and buttoning up my jeans... so i am going to say it one more time because i can. lol I have one more week to go until i have to fit in my bridesmaids dress... so everyone say a small prayer for me! I am really beginning to see my belly start to poke out. I think things are about the get real, just in time for the heat. uhhh

Gender: Football season is quickly approaching as i mentioned last week, and this week made it much more real. I had so much fun last night watching Brad play in the Alumni football game (for our high school) on the new turf field. There were several guys from our class that played, amongst others, and despite being sore i think Brad had a lot of fun. It is crazy to think that some day soon our own kids will be out there playing! Yikes

Movement:  I have tried to keep running and walking this week to get ready for the race this weekend... but Max is not liking to run! It is like he wants to start running when i do and it is NO fun for me! Hopefully we will make it through the race...that is the goal for the week.

Sleep:  I have been getting amazing sleep! The one thing that pregnancy hasn't taken away from this girl is the ability to sleep! It has been the one and only thing that has gone my way this pregnancy!

What I miss: I have pretty much said it all...i just miss being "normal" and i can't wait have this little guy here!

Cravings:  Mexican i guess... but i have always been know to go to our favorite mexican restaurant at least a few times a week...

Symptoms:  ohhh ya my belly is starting to grow because there is a baby in there... enough said... i'm about to POP!

Best Moment this week:  The best moment this week was catching a glimpse of what our baby shower invitations look like! Auntie MegO, Aunt Teri, and Aunt Ashley have really out done themselves... they are sooooo cute! But they are really crafty cute ladies :) I can't wait to see all of my family and friends and show off this growing bump!

Double Deuces!!!

How Far Along: 22 Weeks...only 31/2 months to go!!!

Size of baby:  Baby Oz is the size of a spaghetti squash an weighs about 1 pound!!! Im glad I'm not the one gaining ALL the weight here.

Maternity Clothes:  I am still wearing and buttoning up my jeans... so i am going to say it again because i can. lol I got my bridesmaid dress today for my friend Becky's wedding, and I am thrilled to say it is going to fit! I was worried because the first one i ordered was HUGE because i thought that i would be HUGE by this point but...much to my surprise i am not a whale YET! So, I had to order one in 4 sizes smaller at the last minute and i got here (2 weeks before the wedding)! I am now feeling a huge sense of relief.

Gender: Football season is quickly approaching and i can't wait! Which makes me that much more excited to be having a boy, realizing that i will get to spend my time watching what i love and cheering on my little guy...no he doesn't really have a choice! lol I am ready for college & pro football to kick off and Brad and I are possibly making a trip to tour the Cowboys stadium in Texas! How cool is it going to be to stand on that giant star in the middle of their huge stadium! Dream.

Movement:  He is  definitely moving all around in his compact little space! He continues to move the most after i eat and when i go running and do hills! He must not like the hills either...but we have to get through this 5k next weekend!

Sleep:  I am still sleeping pretty well, he doesn't wake me up in the middle of the night. I am sure he loves to sleep like his mommy.

What I miss: I have pretty much said it all...i just miss being "normal" and i can't wait have this little guy here!

Cravings:  I don't really crave anything but i did have a pancake this morning and i think that could be a new craving because i was AMAZING!!!

Symptoms:  ohhh ya my belly is starting to grow because there is a baby in there...heres to hoping i start looking pregnant and not FAT!

Best Moment this week:  The best moment this week making our shower list and registering for baby oz! It doesn't seem possible that we are to that point yet but time is flying by. Aunt Megan and Aunt Teri are working hard on the shower arrangements, in order to get it in before she makes her big move to Ohio and in between her trip to Paris!

21 Weeks

How Far Along: 21 Weeks...moving right along!

Size of baby:  Baby Oz is the length of a carrot... and about 3/4 of a pound!!!

Maternity Clothes:  I am still wearing and buttoning up my jeans! yay =) but the end of this week i noticed a little belly coming on. I think this may be the week it POPS!

Gender: Our bedding is on backorder until August, so it was a good thing that we ordered early. I am so excited for it to be here so we can start painting, decorating, etc.

Movement:  I am definitely feeling movement now! This little one is moving up a storm... i think he is doing flips in there. It seems that he moves more right after i eat. At work this week i know i was making funny faces as i felt him move.

Sleep:  I am still sleeping pretty well, other than the fact that i find myself waking up on my back. NO! i know that i can't do that, and i turn right on over.

What I miss: I really missed having a cold beer this past weekend when we grilled out for Brad's birthday. I also miss being little and wearing cute swimsuits. I just realized this week that the bikini is about to retire for a while... but don't worry... a little P90x after this baby and i will be ready for next summer!

Cravings:  Much like last week, but not popsicles...shaved ice!!! Ashley and i went to the shaved ice hut this weekend and we definitely hit the spot!

Symptoms:  ohhh ya my belly is starting to grow because there is a baby in there!

Best Moment this week:  The best moment this week has been celebrating Brad's first father's day! I know he will make an amazing dad and i can't wait to see him do so. I know he has the energy... i just hope that Max can keep up with him!

Half Way to BABY!!!

How Far Along: 20 Weeks...ohhh we're half way there

Size of baby:  Baby Oz is the length of a banana... about 10 inches from head to toe!!!

Maternity Clothes:  No maternity clothes yet! I was so happy this week to put on my skinny jeans and they still buttoned. It is a joyous occasion every time that happens. I am starting to notice my tummy starting to poke out a little bit. Other people can't tell...but i definitely can! I am just surprised that i don't have the "bump" yet... but i have heard that it comes later with boys. From the way i am feeling this week...i expect it any time now!

Gender: Since finding out that we are having a boy we have picked out a name and all of the nursery decour. Our little guy will definitely be a Florida Gators fan...just saying! His room is going to be gator themed and it is beyond cute.

Movement:  I think i am feeling this little nugget move around...it feels more like someone clawing at my insides. I know it doesn't sound pleasant but it doesn't really feel that pleasant. I feel bad for not shedding tear when i feel him move like you hear of people doing... i guess the crying/emotional hormones haven't hit me yet?

Sleep:  I am sleeping well for having to sleep on my side. I will catch my self waking up on my back...and i quickly flip before anyone notices (brad or the dogs that is).

What I miss: I miss laying on my back! That is the biggie...

Cravings:   I have been craving popsicles! We bought a huge box of them from sams club and i can not get enough...and i pretty much want the shaved ice hut every time i drive past it...such a tease!

Symptoms:  Starting to get a little chub. Even though it isn't noticeable to most people...it is to me!

Best Moment this week:  The best moment this week was deciding on the name and finally getting the urge to get the nursery started! Maybe i am turning into a mommy after all... i hope =)

Hello My Name is: .....

MAX HARRISON OSBORNE

19 weeks...almost half way there!

How Far Along: a little over 19 weeks

Size of baby:  Baby Oz is the size of a large heirloom tomato... about 61/2 inches long from head to bottom and weighs 8.5 ounces!

Maternity Clothes:  I went shopping over Memorial Day weekend and really found a lot of great things! I got a few maternity dresses for weddings that i have this summer and really went nuts in J. Crew. I know it's not maternity but they had amazingly great loose fitting stuff for summer.

Gender:  We are having a BOY!!! At our ultrasound a few weeks ago the cord was between the legs but this week we got to see our little guy and...yep! STILL A BOY

Movement:  I think i can feel him move sometimes but then i wonder...am i just hungary! How is a first timer supposed to tell?!?!?!

Sleep:  I am sleeping a little less comfortably, after reading that it is important as of now not to lie on my back. I love sleeping on my back and sometimes wake up that way and then freak out and flip to my side. Only 4 more months of side sleeping. :)

What I miss: I miss laying on my back and even though you can't see it through my clothes yet...i miss my flat tummy! I feel like i am getting fat and not getting a baby bump?

Cravings: I don't really have any cravings...but i am loving summer fruits right now! Watermelon, kiwi, strawberries, and pineapple are a few of my top picks!

Symptoms:  No sickness, but i am starting to tell that there is a bump on the way!

Best Moment this week:  The best moment this week was deciding on a name for this little guy...finally! I know it seems soon but i feel much better calling him by his name, rather than it or he. I will probably even still refer to him a Baby Oz because it has become such a big part of my vocabulary lately! With more things falling into place, it is becoming more and more real that we will be parents in 4 short months!

Playing Catch Up!

Wow! With so much going on i have definitely neglected my blogging duties. We have been very busy over the past few weeks between wedding activities, a new job, and getting our house ready for summer and baby! Two weeks ago, i traveled to Peoria, IL for one of my best friends from college, Becky's, bridal shower. I am so happy for her and Justin and i can't wait to be a part of her special day. However, being pregnant and having to wear a bridesmaids dress is stressing me more than anything else right now (hopefully the bump won't pop to much & i won't look too bad). Besides that, i can't wait to spend time with my best friends from college that i don't get to see that often and celebrate Becky and Justin's marriage!

Memorial Day weekend we kicked off summer with a little summer shopping trip with my family! We went to Chicago shopping for some summer clothes to accommodate my soon to be growing belly, our little BOY, and the rest of the family. We came home with more than expected, and i think that Brad and the baby made out with the most. Brad even even started buying baby toys for the little guy. We topped off the trip with dinner at the melting pot, one of our favorite restaurants! The food was amazing and i think Baby Oz really enjoyed it. He already has a few star wars (yes! star wars) stuffed animals and football toys/teething toys. We enjoyed the last day of our long weekend grilling out with the Dougherty's in the afternoon and the O'Riley's in the evening. We swam (i braved my 2 piece for more than likely the last time) and ate way too much food.

This past weekend we spent time getting our house ready for baby! I cleaned out the room that we are going to use for the baby and even gave up my spare closet. We put the dresser/changing table in the room and my mom and dad put together the crib. It is starting to feel more real and out two other babies are very confused about what is going on. They have no idea that in just a few short months, how much all of our lives will change. We picked out bedding for the baby's room, but it is on backorder until August! Who knew we would have to buy these things so soon? So it looks like the curtains, my glider, and the cute little baby chair that match are next on the list!

Well, i guess we are all caught up! I will try to keep it up and blog much more often, but the new job allows me much less time during the day (but i do get home much earlier...huge plus).
